The project was designed to convert an existing farming family house, located in Herdade da Amieira, in to a farming tourism unit, associated with the support activities of the farm. The intervention conserved the original characteristics of the building, representative of the traditional Alentejo architecture "Monte Alentejano". The rural tourism is compose by a main house where is 5 accommodation units, a living room and dining room, a shared kitchen, a private owner's area, support areas and a outdoor wood stove. It also exist a support building for the farming activities and a outdoor parking. The project was completed in 1998.
Our studio is currently developing the design of an outdoor pool.
